| The 0% 12-Payment Plan works in the following manner. 10% of the total warranty cost is collected initially as a down payment, being charged to your card. This provides you with the full protection and benefits of your Acura Care warranty. The remaining warranty balance is divided by 12 . . .with NO interest added. Each month, for 12 months, your card is charged this payment amount by American Honda. On our site, as you begin the warranty application process, you will have the opportunity to chose this 0% 12-Payment Plan ...or to pass and have the total amount charged. For your convenient inspection, our site's software will calculate the correct 10% down payment and the incremental 12 payments, based on the plan you have selected at that time as well as the vehicle information you have provided. The day of the month that your payment will be charged to your card depends on the warranty contract's completion day by our dealership. 97% of the warranty contracts are completed on the same business-day they are received, however in rare instance this could run longer. The 1st payment will be due no less than 30 days after the processing date and no more than 40 days. This day will be standard for the remaining 11 payments. Our options are either the 1st, 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th or 25th of each month. Our site's software will predict the processing date and determine the most likley billing date within this 10-day window.
